"It went great," Keith Browner said of his visit to Boulder, upon returning. "It was a lot more than I expected. I thought it was going to be a kind of country place with a country setting, but it really had a lot going on.
"I went to the game and hung out with a lot of the players and coaches. I met with an Engineering and Business professor. My player host was Alex Ligon. He took me out and we had a good time."
One of the best parts of the trip for Browner was being at the game. "I got to stand on the sideline and see that Buffalo run out. They blew out A&M. The game was a good experience."
The highlight of the trip may have been when the CU coaches spoke with Browner about playing time. "I might be able to go in there and start as a true freshman after looking at their depth chart. At Cal, I would have to fight for my position. There are advantages to both schools. It would be great to pretty much know you can start and it is also great to have to fight for a spot.
"Coach Inge is real cool. I wouldn't mind playing for a coach like him."
Where do the Buffs now stand with Browner? "They are definitely in the mix, but I am still leaning towards Cal."
