Thomas Sets Visit to Boulder, Buffs Lead

Colorado's depth at the running back position is running thin. It is vital that CU recruit at least two players at the position this fall. The staff is eyeing Kenton Thomas in a major way and CU will get the first crack at him when he visits next weekend for the Missouri game.

"I am going to Colorado next weekend and then I have UTEP the weekend of the 12th," Kenton Thomas explained. "I will take a few visits before deciding. Colorado, Utah and UTEP are my top three right now. I would say that Colorado has the lead.

"Coach Hagan continues to tell me that I am going there and that they want me on offense. They see me as a running back for them."

Thomas has written offers from CU, Utah, UTEP, Washington State, Northern Arizona, Wyoming, and Nevada. "Oregon State is also starting to come harder. I have been getting a lot of stuff from them lately."

On the season, Thomas has 84 rushing attempts for 1,004 yards and 14 touchdowns. Receiving, he has 26 catches for 577 yards and six touchdowns. On defense, Thomas has accounted for 27 tackles, three fumble recoveries, two interceptions, and one blocked field goal.

He has raised his core GPA to over a 3.0 and recently took the ACT.

Greenway is 5-3 on the season and takes on Glendale Apollo, tonight.
