Clemson Commit Visiting Boulder

The Buffs are becoming more of a presence in the Sunshine State these days as recruitment of Florida athletes has picked up over the last couple years. Fort Lauderdale wide receiver Kendrick Johnson will be the second Florida prospect to visit CU thus far in the recruiting cycle, and he won't be the last. The three star prospect likes that Boulder is far from home.

Florida WR prospect Kendrick Johnson is now to the point where he's ready to set his official visits and he's working on dates with two Big 12 programs at the current time.

"I'm going to Colorado on December 9th and I'm working on Oklahoma State right now. I'll be taking a trip to Bowling Green and then Georgia maybe as well," Kendrick Johnson said.

As for now, Kendrick says he's still committed to Clemson.

"I'm still a soft verbal to Clemson. My options are open and I just want to see what I can get."

What stands out about his top schools right now?

Colorado: "I like their offense. I've always wanted to go far from home so that seems like a good fit."

Clemson: "They think I can come in and play early. They talk to me about being a true freshman."

Oklahoma State: "I like their offense and the way they play football. They play some big time teams in the Big12 so that's nice."

Bowling Green: "They've just came back in the picture. They're recruiting me heavy now and their coach came to see me today."

Georgia: "They haven't been in touch very often but I just love the team. It's down south, close to home. I love the program they run. Great coaches and the facilities are awesome."

Johnson had a big time senior season.

"I finished the year with 30 catches for 450 yards and 7 touchdowns."
