Colorado is the Strong No.1 for Robertson

Justin Robertson finished this season with 1,400 yards rushing and 21 touchdowns. He also had 241 yards receiving and two touchdowns. He was named the player of the year in his league. Robertson has favored Colorado for a long time, and a switch in head coaches has not changed that. He could commit to the Buffs real soon.

"Colorado is my strong number one right now," Justin Robertson said emphatically. "Colorado has been in contact with me from the start and Coach Hagan has been here on a couple of in-home visits so I have a great relationship with him. I talked to Coach Hawkins last week, on Wednesday, and he sounds like a coach I would love to play under. He told me I would be a perfect fit in his offense and that he can't wait for me to visit.

"I watched a couple of Boise games this year and I have been impressed with the offense they run. He told me he wants to run the same offense at Colorado. He said he likes big tailbacks. I could see myself as a V-back there. He also said that he wants to build the tradition back to where it used to be and make it even better than that."

Robertson could officially visit Boulder very soon. "I am going to call Coach Hagan this weekend and see if I can come in on the first weekend Coach Hawkins is there. If I can't come then, I will probably come the weekend after that. If everything goes well on my visit - I will probably commit. If that happens, I won't be taking anymore trips."

The Lakewood running back has written offers from CU, Washington, Arizona, Arizona State, and Oregon State. "I will be taking all of my trips next month unless I commit to Colorado the first weekend. We'll see what happens."

Robertson is fully qualified.
