Estelle No Longer Committed

Colorado's only Houston-area commitment has opened things up again. After the coaching change at CU where both his recruiting coach (John Wristen) and his position coach (Bill Inge) did not survive the staff change, Estelle wants to explore his options. CU is not out of it, but the D-lineman will visit more schools.

In a conversation last night with's Chris Bonney (, Sean Estelle said he is no longer committed to the Buffs. Buffalo Sports News had been trying to catch up with Estelle but until yesterday he was not speaking with the media.

It now appears that he will be visiting Texas Tech the weekend of January 13th and Arizona the weekend of January 20th. He may also visit Missouri but is not sure at this time. The D-lineman visited Boulder for the Nebraska game and Iowa State December 16th. All schools have officially offered, except Arizona.

Estelle was being recruited to CU as a defensive end but may have ended up as a tackle. He has great footwork with his background in boxing. He was the #1 ranked Heavyweight class Golden Gloves boxer when he was a freshman but he gave it up to concentrate on football.

The BSN will continue to try to catch up with Estelle to see where CU now stands with him and if he has spoken to the new staff.
