Jackson May Visit Boulder (free content)

The Buffs' staff would still like to grab a couple of offensive tackles this class and Ricky Jackson from Gardena Serra High School in California is a player they are looking at. He may visit Colorado.

Height: 6-6
Weight: 270
40 time: 5.2
Bench: 275
Clean: 250
From: Gardena, California
High School: Serra

As a senior, Ricky Jackson had two sacks and one forced fumble on defense. He was named second team all-league and conference as an offensive tackle. I am very coachable," Jackson previously told Scout.com. "I am a fast learner and just a good overall football player."

Jackson is a lean 270 pounds and could easily add another 30-40 pounds to his frame.

Grades were an early concern for him, but it looks like his academic situation has cleared up. "I made up some classes and I will be qualified now. I just need to take the SAT once more and I'll be fine."

He has no offers at this point as only one school has stayed with him throughout the process. "Colorado has always kept in contact with me and I am waiting to hear from them because I am supposed to be taking a trip there this weekend or next. Coach Hagan told me he wants to get me up there."

The Buffalo Sports News will stay with this situation to see if the big man indeed makes the trek to Boulder.

Talk about this on the Ralphie's Den MESSAGE BOARD.
