Sumler to Announce on Sunday (Free Content)

Demetrius Sumler was the only running back in town over the weekend and he had a great time. He will announce his college decision on Sunday between Colorado and Boise State.

"The trip was great," Demetrius Sumler said. "I had a real good time. I was hosted on my visit by George Hypolite and I just hung out with him and met the coaches. It was not as cold there as I thought it would be."

The coaches see him as a bruising tailback. "They told me that they see me as a red zone and goal line running back. They said it will start as that but if I can prove myself by coming in and working hard, I can work my way up the depth chart. They said I also have the opportunity to come in and play early."

Coach (Kent) Riddle will be by Sumler's home on Thursday or Friday. "I have a game on Thursday so I am not sure if he can come then, maybe he can on Friday. I am not sure if Coach Hawkins can come, again, because he already came to my house when he was at Boise. I am going to announce my decision at a press conference on Sunday between Colorado and Boise State."

His father also accompanied him on the visit. "He liked it a lot. He thought it was a little far but he will be happy with whatever my decision is."

Boise State has not yet scheduled an in-home visit this week. "The new running back coach called me last week but I haven't spoken with him since. They will probably be in this week."
