Signing Day Decision for Gallarda

For the first time in a long time, Colorado will have some suspense on signing day as a couple prospects will be making their final decisions between CU and another school. In the case of Brea, California tight end Tommy Gallarda, it is between CU and Boise State. He tells the Buffalo Sports News his current thoughts on the situation.

"I am announcing Wednesday at 3 O'clock (Pacific) between Colorado and Boise State," Tommy Gallarda explained. "I got all the house visits out of the way and now I am just ready to sit back and make my decision."

The last school to see the tight end in person was Boise State. "The coaches came to my school last week. Last time I saw Colorado was when they did an in-home visit with me a couple weeks ago. Coach (Mark) Helfrich and (Kent) Riddle came by. I spoke with Coach Riddle this week and told him my feelings about what is going on right now."

Gallarda gives us his thoughts on the pros of each school. "Boise State is recruiting me harder and I could play earlier there. I could probably play as a true freshman.

"At Colorado, I would have to come in and red-shirt most likely because they are in the Big 12 and I need to be bigger. I also like that they are in a huge conference and they have great tradition. Plus, I have always been more of a big school kind of guy."

All day Wednesday find a spot in the BSN chat room as we announce when players sign with CU and get the latest on players like Gallarda that are making signing day decisions.
