The fax machine in Boulder is burning up as the staff received seven more letters of intent from future Buffaloes; Steven Fendry, Eric Lawson, Bill Boyer, Justin Nonu, Jimmy Smith, Juston Drescher, and Chapelle Brown.

As a senior, Steven Fendry led his team to the state title (5A) and finished the year with 591 yards and nine touchdowns. Fendry was named first team all-Colorado.

His teammate, Eric Lawson also signed. There is come debate as to where Lawson will be playing in Boulder. "I'm not so sure that he's going to play on offense," said Douglas County Head Coach Jeff Ketron. "With Gary's (Barnett) staff, it was a done deal, he was going to play offensive line. But, I'll tell you what, you go back and watch the film on this cat – we told him, especially in the playoff run, ‘You're going to take on double teams every time. You've got to control the line of scrimmage.' He did such an outstanding job."

As a senior, Bill Boyer was named first team all-state.

As a senior, Chapelle Brown had 42 catches for over 800 yards and nine touchdowns. He also had 10 carries for 118 yards and one touchdown. On defense, he had 25 tackles and eight interceptions. He is also the starting point guard for the Los Altos basketball team where he averages 23 points a game.

Juston Nonu has been recruited as a linebacker but his future could be as a defensive tackle. As a senior, he had 155 tackles, five sacks, two interceptions, and two forced fumbles. He was named the Defensive Player of the Year in San Diego County. A bruising Linebacker for the Pirates, Nonu plays like he has a vendetta against everyone on the opposing team.

As a senior, Jimmy Smith had 53 catches for 1,123 yards and 14 touchdowns. On defense, he had 47 tackles, 10 pass deflections and two interceptions. Smith was named first team all-conference at receiver and first team all-league both ways.

Justin Drescher was named second team all-district as a senior. Drescher is being recruited as a long snapper.
