Hawkins Adds Another Former Assistant

Coach Dan Hawkins brought four of his assistants from Boise State with him upon arriving in Boulder and now he has added a fifth. Previous regime holdover Brian Cabral had been the interim recruiting coordinator through signing day, now coach Hawkins has appointed a new recruiting coordinator, and it is an old face.

Robert Tucker has been with Coach Hawkins at Boise State for five years and was most recently the safeties coach/recruiting coordinator. He recently interviewed at CU for the vacant position of assistant recruiting coordinator and he was offered the job, and accepted.

At the time of the interview, Brian Cabral was still the interim coordinator so Tucker interviewing for the assistant recruiting coordinator job was only a formality.

It is not yet known if CU will add an assistant recruiting coordinator or let Tucker be the only one.
