Is Corp CU's Top Prospect at Quarterback?

Colorado is looking for a quarterback prospect this cycle that can compete for a starting spot as soon as his redshirt freshman year. Aaron Corp from Orange, California is a player with that kind of talent and the Buffs extended a scholarship offer a week and a half ago. Corp gives us his thoughts on CU.

Aaron Corp now claims written offers from Cal, Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon, Washington State, Mississippi, Nebraska, and Colorado. "I was leaning towards UCLA, but they received a commitment from Chris Forcier so technically I am out of it with them and they are out of it with me. I would say Cal and Arizona State are my top two. I went and visited Arizona and Arizona State recently with my teammate Michael Reardon. I like what ASU has to offer."

CU was the most recent offer for Corp. "Coach (Mark) Helfrich tells me that they gave out their first offer to me. He was telling me how their offense is going to work and how they are going to throw a lot. He says their whole idea is to get the ball to their best players and let them work. I would not have a problem with leaving California for school."

The signal caller speaks of the two main items he will be looking for in a school. "The biggest things in my decision will be the academics and the atmosphere."

Corp has already attended junior days at UCLA and USC. "I am deciding where to visit this summer. I plan on making my decision before my senior season. I want to get it out of the way."
