Buffs in on Norco Lineman

The CU staff plans to load up on offensive and defensive lineman this fall as both the ranks are depleted. A player they seem to be taking a hard look at is Adam Tello from Norco, California. He gives us his thoughts on the Buffs.

Height: 6-4
Weight: 290
40 time: 5.2
Bench: 365
Squat: 495
Clean: 275

As a junior, Adam Tello was named first team all-Inland Valley and second team all-league.

He played solely on defense as a sophomore but only offense as a junior. "I have the ability to get out and move," says Tello. "I pull a lot."

Tello currently has four written offers; Baylor, Boston College, Colorado State, and New Mexico.

He is looking at a lot of schools right now. "I am interested in many different places. I like USC a lot. I like Boston College, Colorado State, Oregon, and a few other places."

He is also looking at the Buffs. "I like the Colorado program. I like the coach that is recruiting me there. I forget his name but he sends me a lot of text messages and we have talked."

Tello attended the USC Junior Day and also plans on attending the USC lineman camp. "USC is showing me the most attention right now."

He carries a 2.5 core GPA and will take the SAT in June. Tello would like to major in Fire Science in hopes to be a Fireman.
