Buffs Offer Texas LB Over the Weekend

On Saturday, Linebacker Robert Hall received a written offer from the CU staff. It was his second offer to date. The prospect is very fond of Colorado and says he'll most likely be in Boulder in a couple months for the Buffs' summer camp.

Height: 6-3
Weight: 208
40 time: 4.72
Bench: 315
Squat: 465
Clean: 265
Vertical: "27 1/2
From: Friendswood, Texas
High School: Friendswood

Robert Hall was named first team all-district and honorable mention all-county as a junior. He was also selected as the defensive MVP on his team.

The CU staff has been in on him for a while and had verbally offered, but it just became offical on Saturday afternoon. "They sent the real thing in the mail so I was excited about that," Hall said. "I really like Colorado. I don't have any favorites right now but they are definitely in it."

He says the CU staff likes him as an outside linebacker. "I have been talking and texting with Coach Cabral and he told me he sees me on the outside."

Hall's current top five are CU, Houston (first offer), Texas Christian, Arkansas, and Florida. "I think Kansas may also be close to offering. My coach thinks that most the Big 12 North schools might be coming through with offers. He feels that they all really like me."

It is obvious that Hall will have to gain some weight to play at the next level, but the height and frame are already there, plus he has good speed. "I feel I have great speed and quickness. I can read the ball and get there fast."

He has been to Colorado before, but will most likely make a return trip this summer. "I took a vacation to Colorado before to go snowboarding with some friends. I loved the views everywhere I went. I will probably go to their summer camp in a couple months."

Hall will not find out his core GPA until his senior year, but knows his grades are just fine. He is awaiting his SAT score and is thinking of majoring in Business.
