Buffs Add California Linebacker

It happens every year, players previously unbeknownst to the recruiting world show up to camps and blow on-lookers away. Such is the case with Colorado's latest commit. The California linebacker showed up to CU's camp recently and had such a good showing that the Buff coaches offered immediately and the defender accepted soon after. Here is a look at the newest Buff.

Height: 6-2
Weight: 235
40 time: 4.6
From: San Bernardino, California
High School: Cajon

As a junior, Tyler Ahles recorded 100 tackles and three sacks. He also competes in track.

Sources close to the situation are reporting that he gave the CU staff a verbal commitment a few days ago.

The word on Ahles is that he was not a hot commodity coming into the CU camp but showed up and dominated within his group and was really one of the stars of the entire camp.

The Buffalo Sports News will attempt to speak with Ahles this evening to get his thoughts on becoming a Buff. He is the first linebacker commit of the class.
