Alabama Receiver Has Colorado Offer

Colorado is still looking to land their first wide receiver commit of this class. The CU staff has offered some good ones and they are spread out across the nation. Here is a look at Quindarius Carr from Huntsville, Alabama. Carr is a player CU offered a couple weeks ago.

Height: 6-2
Weight: 175
40 time: 4.5
From: Huntsville, Alabama
High School: Huntsville

Quindarius Carr had a very productive junior season catching 26 passes for 426 yards and seven touchdowns. He was a first team all-city selection. "My strengths are reading coverages and running precise, crisp routes," Carr boasts. "They are also catching the ball and blocking because I believe blocking is something you should concentrate on in your game. I'm working on getting better at being a receiver, blocking, catching and running routes. I need to get better at everything."

He has written offers from Alabama, Auburn, South Carolina, Troy, Southern Mississippi, Purdue, Colorado, and Louisville. "My top three are Auburn, Alabama and South Carolina. I am keeping my options open, though. I am going to Auburn this weekend. I was supposed to go to Alabama last weekend but I will probably be going next weekend. I am also going to try to get up to South Carolina some time before the summer is over."

Carr received an offer from Colorado a couple weeks ago. "Colorado is an all right school. I spoke with Coach Kiesau on the phone and he wanted to know if I was interested in them and I told him yes."

The receiver could make a decision before the beginning of the season. "I might do that but I might also want to make an official visit, or two."
