As a junior, Ed Imeokparia rushed 48 times for 600 yards and 10 touchdowns. Most of the season he was performing on a high ankle sprain. "I think I will be getting more offers after a couple games this year," he explained. "So many schools have told me they want tape of my first game as soon as possible."
Two schools that have already seen enough to send written offers to Imeokparia are Colorado and Michigan State. "Colorado was the first to offer me before May and Michigan State came like halfway through May.
"Stanford has also said I just need to pass admissions for them to offer and I think Georgia will offer soon. I went to Georgia's camp recently and their coach told me I could expect one from them real soon."
The visits to the above colleges have been enough to put all those schools in his top five. "My top schools are Georgia, Tennessee, Michigan State, Tennessee, and Penn State."
Does he have any interest in CU? "Sort of. It helps that they have offered. I have spoken with Coach Tucker and he tells me they plan to run the ball a lot next season so that sounds good. But, I have been looking at those other schools for a long time."
Imeokparia has no set time for a decision. "I am just looking forward to getting some more offers, taking some trips, and going from there."
He carries a 3.0 core GPA and scored a 1640 on the SAT. The running back is thinking of a major in Business.
