Iltis Receives New Offer, Has Two Favorites

Now that the CU staff has three interior offensive lineman committed for this class, the question is how many more will they take? While the Buffs are thin at most positions, you can only take so many. We caught up with one of CU's many interior O-lineman targets, Mike Iltis, to get the latest with the Florida product.

"Well, I recently got back from the South Florida elite camp and they offered me a scholarship," explained Mike Iltis. "Now I have them, Colorado and Missouri."

Iltis is taken by his latest offer. "USF has always been one of my favorites. I have always kind of wanted to stay in-state. I went to Florida's senior camp and I performed well there but they already have three offensive lineman committed and they have some other guys they are waiting on. They say they are interested in me, but I don't like being treated like a last resort."

Has the latest offer shaken up the favorites' list for Iltis? "I would say it is South Florida and Colorado in the lead for me now. With USF, I could help build something. I could be a part of the foundation that did something special.

"I love Colorado and what they are trying to do there, too. I was texting with Coach Hawk last week and he was just asking how my summer was going. I have been meaning to speak with him on the phone here, soon."

Iltis claims he will take a couple visits before deciding.
