CU in on Fairview Running Back Arthur Jaffee

Colorado is looking to take at least one running back this recruiting class either from the junior college or high school ranks. A player that has recently caught the eyes of the staff is Boulder's own Arthur Jaffee from Fairview High School.

As a junior, Arthur Jaffee recorded 23 touchdowns and 907 yards in nine games. He was named first team all conference and county, and honorable mention all-state. "I have great field awareness and am great at running north and south," Jaffee said. "I am a downhill runner with acceleration."

The local product is currently listing seven schools but is open to more. "Right now, I like California, Colorado, Arizona State, Air Force, University of San Diego, Colorado State, and Virginia. I would say Cal is my favorite. I have always liked them. But, my coach spoke with one of their coaches in the off-season and the coach said that they are looking for a different type of running back."

Of all the schools, the Buffs are recruiting Jaffee the hardest. "I speak with Coach Hawk, or Hagan, or both every month. I have developed friendships with the coaching staff at CU. I love the town of Boulder. I love the facilities and the mountains."

The tailback prospect has yet to receive his first offer and has not scheduled any official visits.

He carries a 3.4 core GPA and scored a 21 on the ACT. Jaffee would like to major in Business.
