Nation's no.13 LB Remarks on Visit to Boulder

Colorado had two players visit last weekend that were committed to other schools. The most heavily regarded recruit of all weekend visitors was Arizona commit Terrance Pritchett from Grant HS in Sacramento. We get his thoughts on the trip and see if CU is now in contention for his services.

Terrance Pritchett has helped lead Grant HS to a 3-0 start to their season. He has 25 tackles (18 solo) on defense. On offense, at tight end, he has eight receptions for 197 yards and one touchdown.

Pritchett committed to Arizona back in June but has since decided to open up his recruitment. "I went to Colorado last weekend and I have Oregon scheduled for October 13th," Pritchett explained. "I have to re-schedule the Oregon visit because we have a game that day. I am going to Arizona on October 20th. I am giving them the last visit. I still consider myself committed to Arizona, but I like all three schools."

Pritchett says he made the visit to Boulder with teammate Devan Cunningham. "Devan liked the trip but I think he got a little home sick. I liked the way the team played in the game. They never gave up. I liked Coach Cabral. He has a great history of putting linebackers in the league. Dan Hawkins was real successful in his last job and I think he'll continue that at Colorado."

The thing that really stood out to Pritchett was the setting of Boulder. "Boulder is a real college town. I like that Denver is real close but not too close."

Lorenzo Sims was Pritchett's host on the trip.

All schools are recruiting the linebacker equally as hard. "They are all really coming after me. Coach Kish at Arizona called me real early in the morning on September 1st. Arizona is loving me up. Those three schools are it for me. I will make my final decision after the trips."
