Wheatley had two interceptions against Baylor playing with his wrist in its current condition.
• Center Mark Fenton is no longer wearing a cast on his lower leg and is no longer using crutches to get around. He'll be able to practice in a limited fashion this week. Though he won't play Saturday against Texas Tech, Fenton said he still hopes to play as soon as Oct. 21 at Oklahoma. Fenton fractured a bone in his lower leg against Georgia. The injury did not require surgery.
• Safety Ryan Walters was running around at Sunday's practice and should play Saturday after missing the Baylor game with a stinger injury.
• The team did some conditioning work, then divided into six teams and played "Buff Ball" – a game with few rules that looks something like Ultimate Frisbee with a football.
