Colorado has a lot of offensive lineman in this class but only one prototypical tackle prospect in Ryan Miller. Adam Tello was one of the others that probably could have made it as a tackle but he is only a "soft" commit at this point. The BSN spoke with him to get the latest on his recruitment
will be visiting Boulder this weekend with teammate and fellow CU commit, Garth Gerhart
. "I am looking forward to the trip," Tello said. "I still consider myself a soft commit to Colorado
but I will be looking at other schools. I have a visit set to Arizona
Nov.11th and Arizona State
Other schools the guard/tackle prospect is looking at include Kansas, Louisville, Oregon, Oregon State, Utah, and Washington.
Tello has halped lead Norco to a 7-1 record on the season with their lone loss coming to Corona last week. Corona is where CU recruit and visitor next weekend, Nate Vaiomounga, plays at. "He was pretty fast. He plays linebacker there but I bet he'll be a strong safety. He reminds me of that old USC safety (Troy Polamalu)."
The soft CU verbal says he is averaging 8-10 pancake blocks a game this fall. Coach Avalos is recruiting him for the Buffs.
The BSN will catch-up with Tello after the visit for his thoughts.
