Ross Talks About CU Trip

David Ross was one of the most highly-touted players in town over the weekend. The Compton Dominguez athlete has his pick of schools around the nation. Do the Buffs have a shot with him?

David Ross is doing it all for Dominguez High School this fall. He plays quarterback on offense where he has thrown for eight touchdowns and rushed for six. He plays corner on defense where he has 20 tackles and four interceptions. Ross has led Dominguez to a 9-1 record and into the first round of the playoffs against Morningside, this Friday night.

The talented athlete had already taken a trip to Nebraska, and recently visited Colorado. "It was real cool at Colorado," Ross said. "It felt like home to me. They treat you real nice there. After the visit, though, I still liked Nebraska better."

Despite his interest in the Huskers between the two visits, the Big Red are still not his favorite team. "Oregon is on top for me. I am going to visit there and my other two visits will probably go to Michigan and Oregon State."

His top five, in order, are Oregon, Nebraska, Oregon State, Michigan, and Colorado.

Coach Hagan is recruiting him for the Buffs. Ross figures he has 25 offers in all.
