Anderson Has A CU Offer, May Visit

The Buffs recently picked up their first wide receiver commitment of the class and now are looking to grab 2-3 more. A player they recently offered and may visit is Jeshua Anderson from Taft HS in Woodland Hills, California. Inside, we get Anderson's thoughts on CU and speak of the great season he just had.

As a senior, Jeshua Anderson had a very productive season catching the ball 40 times for 1,100 yards and 10 touchdowns. He also had 12 carries for 129 yards and one touchdown. "I am great at route-running and beating the jam," Anderson boasts. "I have good hands and a long stride so my speed is deceptive."

Anderson also saw some spot-duty on defense but all schools involved like him as a wide receiver. He is also a great track athlete. He was one of the top hurdlers in the nation as an underclassmen. Anderson finished second in California in the 110h (14.30) and 300h (36.75) in 2006. He is ranked in the top 10 nationally for the 300h.

The wideout currently has two written offers; Colorado and Nevada. "I got the Nevada one at the beginning of the season. The Colorado offer came last month. I just sent out senior film to Washington, Oregon, Oregon State, and Washington State so I am waiting to see if they will come through with offers."

Despite the offers from Nevada and CU, neither are in his top five. "Those two are probably in my top ten. My favorites are USC, Cal, Washington, Oregon, and Arizona State. I haven't schedule any visits yet, but I will probably visit Colorado, Washington, Washington State, Arizona State, and Oregon State.

Anderson is being recruited by Coaches Hagan and Kiesau. "They are telling me that they need wide receivers real bad and that I could probably start there as a true freshman. They say they need someone who can get down the field and create separation."

The BSN will speak with Anderson soon to see if he schedules a trip to Boulder.
