The CU staff rounds out a great class coming off a 2-10 season with plenty of prime-time players that could contribute as Freshman. The latest big signee was junior college phenom, Patrick Gates.

With faxes coming in from Nate Vaiomounga, Tyler Ahles, Chris Perri, and Patrick Gates, the CU staff closed a great recruiting class that will go a long way in bringing the CU program back to the times when the program demanded respect.

The biggest late signee was JC AA Patrick Gates. Gates could be a contender for the starting position at tailback as long as he gets his grades in order which he is on par with.

Ahles might be the biggest sleeper in the class as he has the size and skills to play a number of positions but was mainly recruited for middle linebacker.

Nate Vaiomounga will probably end up at strong safety after spending most his high school career at linebacker. He is another player that still needs grades but is on par.

The CU class currently ranks no.33 in the nation.
