Colorado Leads For Jones

Possibly the no.1 QB prospect in the nation next year, Landry Jones, could reach his college decision by the end of next month. At this time, it appears that his choice is between three schools. Inside, the BSN gets the lowdown on his latest words.

Landry Jones now has written offers from Colorado, Wisconsin, Oregon, Virginia, New Mexico, and New Mexico State.

He is going to make his college choice between March and April. "That is when I am still planning my decision," explains Jones. "Right now, it is between Colorado definitely, Oklahoma and UCLA."

The school recruiting him the hardest is the Buffs. "Colorado is after me the most. I even spoke with Coach Hawkins about his 'rant' on ESPN. If you know Coach Hawkins that is exactly what you would expect from him. That is just how he is."

The Buffs are the favorite. "Colorado is in the lead right now. Between Coach Hawkins and Helfrich, I feel good about the situation."

The BSN will continue to speak with Jones in the near future to find out what his final college choice is.
