Buffs Offer Familiar Name

Colorado has offered a player with a name familiar to CU fans, Scout.com has learned. Tight end prospect Joseph Fauria collected his fourth offer Monday.

Joseph Fauria, the 6-7, 250-pound tight end from Crespi HS in Encino, Calif., received an offer today from a school that has a history in his family.

"I just got an offer from Colorado at about one o'clock," said Fauria.

Fauria's uncle Christian, a longtime NFL tight end, was an all-American for the Buffs in the early 1990's.

"I haven't talked to him yet, but we've been playing phone tag," said Fauria.

Fauria also has offers from Ole Miss, LSU and UCLA.
