Saturday promises to usher in CU's first big recruiting weekend of the 2008 cycle, but the Buffs are on the lookout for talent in the 2009 class, as well. They've recently offered a speedster from the Islands.
While Manti Te'o
is soaking up all the ink for the class of 2009 at the Punahou School in Honolulu, running back Dalton Hilliard
is going about his business and garnering some serious attention in his own right.
The 5-foot-10, 175-pound Hilliard was recently offered by Colorado, according to his family.
"We are pretty excited and appreciative," Amalia Hilliard, Dalton's Mother, told Scout.com Thursday.
Hilliard was named MVP among the running backs at last spring's PIAA combine in Honolulu. CU has also extended an offer to Te'o.
