Ewing was among the first to commit to CU's current class, pulling the trigger back in June. He's among three prospects — RB Darrell Scott and OG Max Tuioti-Mariner being the others — confirmed for official visits to Boulder this weekend.
Before coming to Boulder for the weekend, though, Ewing will suit up and play in the secondary for his Carlsbad High team. Carlsbad, 6-1 this year, is the two-time defending state champs in their division, and hosts Rancho Bueno Vista at home.
Ewing reports he has over 60 tackles and two fumble recoveries.
"I like to be physical. It sets the tone. When I start being physical, then other people on our team start being physical and being aggressive," he said.
