Two wideouts competing for time at CU

Colorado's depth problems at wide receiver are no secret with just three scholarship players at the position this spring. Two walk-ons have done all the right things over the past year to catch coaches attention and both are likely to play next fall. Get inside for more.

Jason Espinoza would have earned a lot more playing time in 2008 if not for breaking his collarbone twice during the season. He nearly won the punt return job during training camp before becoming one of many victims of the injury bug.

Espinoza's primary competition for playing time at wide receiver this spring is Ryan Maxwell, a player with very similar size, speed and ability.

We did video interviews with both players this week to see how spring ball is going for them. Check out Espinoza here
