Evans arrives

Colorado coaches believe they got a steal when they signed Clark Evans out of Los Alamitos High School in California in February. Evans arrived in Boulder on Sunday and spent his first day on campus Monday, including his first workout with teammates. He took a few minutes from his busy day to speak with Scout.com in this video interview.

A year ago, Colorado quarterback Tyler Hansen entered fall camp with minimal expectations and most believing he would redshirt. Hansen became a big part of the CU offense in the middle of the season and will compete for the starting job in August.

It will be interesting to see if history repeats itself this fall with another new quarterback on the roster. At 6-foot-4, 230 pounds, Clark Evans definitely looks like he's ready for college football. Only time will tell how quickly he fights his way into the mix. He's taking a level-headed approach to his future.
