loves to play defense. He learned the importance of the less glorious side of the game at the high school level and his approach to stopping the opponent might have been what earned him a scholarship in Boulder.
Sharpe is a little shy as a lot of true freshmen are in their first months on campus, but we suspect he will come around as time goes on.
He spent a year in prep school between high school and his arrival in Boulder earlier this summer. That means he is a year more mature for the college game than most true freshmen.
One thing is obvious in watching him on the court. There won't be many players who will beat him in terms of athleticism or desire.
