Buffs take two

Colorado received its ninth known commitment this weekend from an exciting playmaker from New Orleans. It is the third commitment in the 2010 cycle from a player who says he has been told he will have an opportunity to play quarterback in Boulder. Get inside for more.

Munchie Legaux, a three-star prospect from Edna Karr Magnet School in New Orleans, visited CU over the weekend with two of his teammates and confirmed to Scout.com that he has committed to play his college football in Boulder.

Legaux joins his teammate and close friend Keenan Canty in committing to CU. Canty announced his pledge in an interview Sunday night.

Legaux joins Nick Hisrchman and Danny Spond as members of the 2010 recruitings class who have been recruited to Boulder as quarterbacks. CU has three scholarship quarterbacks on the roster slated to return next season in Tyler Hansen, Cody Hawkins and Clark Evans. The program also already has two walk-on quarterbacks in Seth Lobato and Jerry Slota.
