Sophomore slumps have happened to the best of them, but if the way Colorado wide receiver Will Jefferson has looked early in spring practices is any indication, he probably doesn't have much to worry about. Get inside for our video interview.

William Jefferson came to Colorado as a very late addition to the 2009 recruiting class last summer just a few days before training camp began. He made the most of his opportunities on the practice fields and in the film room, and it paid off in playing time as a true freshman.

Jefferson played in 11 games and caught six passes for 45 yards and might be hard to keep off the field next fall is he continues to play with passion and knack for making plays he has shown so far in spring ball.

It's safe to say entering the first scrimmage of spring ball on Thursday, Colorado coaches have four solid receivers they can count on in Jefferson, Scotty McKnight, Markques Simas and Toney Clemons.

"He's looked real good," quarterback Tyler Hansen said. "He's got a little swagger to him. He's starting to talk more. He's starting to run better routes. He just looks a lot more confident."
