Week 2 MVP Award
Alex Foster – 6-7 Sophomore Forward DeLaSalle Institute / Mavericks
Foster impressed onlookers today with a 19 point performance. He snared four rebounds and blocked three shots in the Mavericks win. Foster handles the ball tremendously for his size and is one of the top prospects in the area for the Class of 2013.
Week 2 Outstanding Perfomers
Macari Brooks - 6'3 Senior Guard Rich South / Hawks
After winning last's MVP Award, Brooks verbally committed to DePaul coach Oliver Purnell on Wednesday. The future Blue Demon followed that up with a 21 point, six rebound, three assists, two blocks and one steal performance to lead the Hawks to the win this afternoon. Through the first two weeks, Brooks is leading the league in scoring with a 22.5 ppg average.
