Hill and Wallace Leave DePaul Program

Devin Hill and Eric Wallace have both received their releases from the DePaul men's basketball program.

Long rumored to be leaving the DePaul team, Devin Hill and Eric Wallace have now both received their official releases to transfer.

Wallace, who transferred after his freshman year at Ohio State, participated in the DePaul Commencement ceremony on Sunday and is on campus in summer school right now.

The 6-7, 233 lb. forward only played one year for the Blue Demons. He averaged 6.3 points and 4.9 rebounds in 24 games in the 2009-10 season.

Wallace missed the entire 2010-11 season after undergoing surgery on his leg on October 7th for a fractured left tibia and fibula.

Hill only played in five games this season for the Blue Demons. The 6-9, 210 lb. forward averaged 5.2 points and 2.4 rebounds per game before sitting out the rest of the season with a stress fracture in his foot.

With the arrival of six freshmen on campus for summer school this week, the Blue Demons are now at their full allotment of 13 scholarships for the 2011-12 season.
