Jodan Price Breaking Out

Jodan Price is one of the hottest names on the recruiting scene right now after his breakout performance at the Nike EYBL's Peach Jam in front of numerous coaches. The Detroit Country Day prospect has seen his recruitment pick up in recent weeks. DePaul remains right in the mix for his services.

Jodan Price is a 6'7" shooting guard that has great size and a smooth perimeter stroke. It was fully on display at the Peach Jam. Although they struggled as a team, he shined at the event.

"I had some good performances at Peach Jam," said Price. "I played against The (New Jersey) Playaz and all the other good teams. It was a good experience. I shot the ball well down there, but we didn't come out with as many wins as we would have liked because we dropped some close games."

Against Kyle Anderson and one of the top teams in the country in The Playaz, Price shot six of ten from behind the arc en route to 25 points. Later in the week he scored 22 points while making every attempt from the field and only missing one of ten free throws.

He followed that up with a 33 point performance on Saturday night in St. Louis.

Price listed his current offer list.

"Minnesota, Northwestern, DePaul, Lamar, and Eastern Michigan are my offers."

He is also hearing from Colorado, Maryland, Providence, South Florida, and Boston College. Price says he is shooting to make his decision in November before his high school season kicks off.

DePaul is a school Price is intrigued by and learning more about.

"I like DePaul," said Price. "It is a good school in Chicago. I have been to Chicago before, but haven't visited the school yet. I like them."

DePaul has made Price a priority as Coach Oliver Purnell is his lead recruiter.

"He talked to me about how he wants a shooter and he thinks I could fit in perfect with them," said Jodan.

They are going to have to fight for Price as he has become a national recruit now, but if they can get him on campus the Blue Demons have a shot to land the forward.
