Tony Freeland Leaves DePaul

Multiple sources confirmed to WeAreDePaul.com this morning that junior forward Tony Freeland has left DePaul University with the intention to transfer to another institution.

Tony Freeland underwent season-ending shoulder surgery due to instability in his right shoulder in October. Freeland was sitting out the 2011-12 season as a medical redshirt.

The junior forward from California has two years of eligibility remaining.

Freeland averaged 9.6 points and five rebounds per game in his sophomore season.
