The Blue Demons will head south of the border in November to participate in the 2012 Cancun Challenge.

The 2012 Cancun Challenge, in its fifth year, will feature eight men's NCAA Division I teams in two separate divisions.

All teams will play two games in the U.S. prior to traveling to Cancun.

The Blue Demons will host two Mayan division schools on Thursday, November 15th and Saturday, November 17th.

DePaul will then travel to Cancun, Mexico for two more games. The games in Cancun feature two separate four team brackets with games tipping off on Tuesday, November 20 and completing on Wednesday, November 21, 2012.

This unique tournament is held at the convention center at the beautiful all-inclusive beach front resort of Moon Palace.

The Cancun Challenge is owned and operated by Fort Collins, Colorado based Triple Crown Sports, Inc., which also owns and operates other women's college basketball tournaments in Cancun as well as the Preseason and Postseason Women's National Invitation tournaments.
