DePaul's Marrero Out with Torn ACL

DePaul freshman forward DeJuan Marrero is out with a torn ACL in his right knee per his twitter account.

DeJuan Marrero, a freshman forward from Bowman Academy in Gary, Indiana, has been sidelined with a torn ACL in his right knee and will miss the season for the DePaul Blue Demons.

"I want to apologize to my people back home," Marrero said to fans on Twitter. "I tore my ACL last night in practice. I'm going to sit out this season and get a full recovery. I was really looking forward to this season and helping my team progress and win. I'm going to keep moving forward and think positive."
