DePaul Inks Two for 2014

DePaul coach Oliver Purnell announced today that his team has signed two recruits for the class of 2014 – junior college big man Rashaun Stimage and combo guard Jon Davis.

Jon Davis and Rashaun Stimage also join Illinois transfer Myke Henry in the DePaul's 2014 recruiting class. Henry is sitting out this season under NCAA transfer rules.

Davis is a 6-2 combo guard from Clinton Christian School in Maryland. Jon was originally was a 2015 recruit, who declassified to the 2014 recruiting class. He starred this summer with the D.C. Assault AAU program.

"He has an effortless stroke from three, but also showed he could pull-up off the bounce for mid-range jump shots and he picked his spots for drives to the rim," Scout.com analyst Evan Daniels said after seeing Davis play this summer. "Davis also flashed a floater and finished well on either side of the rim in transition."

Stimage is a 6-8, 225 lb. power forward from Daytona State junior college, who originally starred at Farragut Career Academy in the Chicago Public League.
