Per his Twitter account, Brandon Young worked out for the Dallas Mavericks in a pre-draft workout on Tuesday.
Brandon Young ended his career at DePaul in March and finished as the school's third all-time leading scorer with 1,899 career points.
The Mavericks are looking at Young as a possible second round pick in this month's NBA Draft. Dallas does not own any first round draft choices, but does own three picks in the second round.
If Young were to be selected by the Mavericks, he would find himself competing with Shane Larkin, who spent a month at DePaul in 2011 before transferring to Miami.
Another possibility is that Young could end up playing for the Texas Legends. The Legends are the NBA D-League affiliate of the Mavericks.
