2016 DePaul Team Camp Preview

DePaul men's basketball hosts their seventh annual High School Team Camp on the west side of Chicago at the Quest Center beginning on Monday morning. The camp features over 30 high school teams and a bevy of prep talent from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin. We preview the event in this report…

This year’s camp will be Dave Leitao’s second camp as the head coach at DePaul. The camp will feature one of the better fields of any high school tournament in Illinois this summer. Leitao and his coaching staff have assembled some of the best teams from throughout Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

Leitao and his staff have evaluated a lot of the local talent during the April evaluation period and will be recruiting those in attendance during and after the Team Camp.

Play gets underway at 9 a.m. on Monday.

Last year’s camp MVP, Curie guard Devin Gage, committed to the Blue Demons a few days after the camp ended.  Who will be the standout at this year’s camp?
