"I liked the team the most," remarked Sam. "I got to know a lot of the girls, mainly because of my sister. I went to some of their open gyms. The girls were a good group of girls to be around."

Quigley was named to the 2004-05 All-Area team by the Daily Southtown, Chicago Sun-Times, & Chicago Tribune. Last December, Samantha was named the Chicago Tribune girls player of the week for her 21 pts., 7 rebounds, & 6 assists performance vs. Joliet, and 18 pts., 15 rebounds, 6 assists vs. Nazareth and 33 pts., 8 rebounds, 5 assists vs. St. Viator. All of which were wins for Joliet Catholic.
