Suzanne Morrison Transfers to DePaul

Suzanne Morrison, a 6-1 forward from Northwestern University, has transferred to DePaul University to play basketball for coach Doug Bruno's Blue Demons. Morrison is a senior who has one year of eligibility remaining and is able to play this season.

Morrison played three seasons at Northwestern and sat out one redshirt season with an injury.

"She petitioned the NCAA to be able to transfer as a fifth year (player) and be immediately eligible and the NCAA granted her that waiver," said Bruno. "She's immediately eligible to play for us this year as a fifth year senior. That's three years of game experience at a Big Ten school. She gives us some very important depth inside."

Suzanne was the third leading scorer for the Wildcats last season averaging 10.3 points and 4.4 rebounds per game.

Morrison is a Bloomfield, Michigan native that played for Detroit Country Day high school.

Suzanne joins two other Big Ten transfers on this year's DePaul squad. Junior Rachael Carney transferred from Michigan and sophomore Missy Mitidiero came to DePaul from Illinois.
