CHICAGO – DePaul has added four additional men's basketball games to its television schedule for the 2005-06 season Athletic Director Jean Lenti Ponsetto announced today.
DePaul's games at Dayton on December 10, at Old Dominion on December 17 and the BIG EAST Conference home opener against long-time rival Notre Dame on January 7 at the Allstate Arena will all be carried by ESPN+ and will air on WCIU (Channel 26) in Chicago.
In addition to the three ESPN+ games, the Blue Demons' contest with Georgetown on January 31 at the Allstate Arena will be televised nationally by ESPN Classic.
These additions to the schedule bring the total number of television appearances for DePaul in 2005-06 to 15. Head Coach Jerry Wainwright's squad will be on ESPN five times, ESPN+ seven times and will be on both ESPNU and ESPN Classic once each. In addition, DePaul's game against California at the Pete Newell Challenge on December 21 in Oakland will be televised by College Sports Television.
The Blue Demons open the 2005-06 season on Saturday when they host Bradley at the Allstate Arena. Game time is 1 p.m.
