Thijin Moses is a Sudanese native who arrived in Chicago by way of Canada. He started out his career in the U.S. playing at Julian High School in Chicago. Over the summer, Moses followed his high school coach Loren Jackson to Boys to Men Math and English Academy in Chicago.
Moses, a 6-8 180 pound small forward has been showcasing his skills on the prep school circuit along with Boys to Men. Thijin has displayed good perimeter shooting skills and the ability to drive to the hole.
Earlier reports had Moses receiving interest from DePaul and Marquette in the Big East. Of late, Moses' strongest interest is coming mostly from mid-major schools. Ball State, Bradley, Nevada, California-Santa Barbara, and Wisconsin-Green Bay are among the Division I schools showing the most interest in Thijin.
Bradley is an interesting possibility as Moses' teammate 6-11 forward Xavier Crawford has already committed to the Bradley Braves.
