Quemont Greer to Play in Venezuela

After completing regular season play for the Tulsa 66ers of the NBA Developmental League, former DePaul Blue Demon Quemont Greer has signed a professional contract to play basketball for Trotamundos de Carabobo in Venezuela.

It is ironic that the former DePaul Blue Demon replaces former DePaul recruit and Chicagoan Ronnie Fields on the roster in Venezuela. Fields recently left the team for personal reasons.

Greer is a 6-7 240 lb. forward from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and can play either forward position.

Greer was the DePaul's leading scorer at 18.3 points per game in 2004-05. Quemont averaged 7.6 rebounds per game in his senior year at DePaul.

He finished his career ranked 13th in DePaul history for career scoring.
