Thijin Moses Names a Leader

In this report, checks in on the recruitment of the 93rd ranked prospect in the top 100 for the Class of 2006 - forward Thijin Moses from Boys to Men Math and English Academy in Chicago. Moses' recruitment is winding down as he looks to choose a college during the current Spring signing period. Moses has a leader and is looking to sign soon.

Thijin Moses is one of the few unsigned players in the top 100 in the Class of 2006. In the next two to three weeks he expects to make a decision and sign with the college of his choice.

Moses has named a leader for his services – DePaul University in Chicago. Thijin has scholarship offers from DePaul, Fairfield, and Toledo. He had also been receiving interest from Cincinnati, Iowa State, and Marquette.

Former Boston College assistant coach Ed Cooley, who was just named the head coach at Fairfield, plans to visit with Moses soon.

Thijin Moses is a Sudanese native who arrived in Chicago by way of Canada. He started out his career in the U.S. playing at Julian High School in Chicago. In the summer of 2005, Moses followed his high school coach Loren Jackson to Boys to Men Math and English Academy in Chicago.

Moses, a 6-9 180 pound small forward has been showcasing his skills in prep school games along with Boys to Men and on the AAU circuit with the Chicago Jaguars. Thijin has displayed very good perimeter shooting skills and the ability to drive to the hole.

Moses is rated as a four star prospect by and is ranked as the 21st best small forward in the Class of 2006.
