Mac Koshwal: Lining Up Visits

Chicago big man Nyal "Mac" Koshwal's recruitment is coming to a close. In this report learn where Koshwal is taking both official and unofficial visits. The 6-8 240 pound senior from Boys to Men Math and English Academy in Chicago has narrowed his choices down to six schools, who is his leader? Which college will get the first visit? What new schools have entered the picture?

Mac Koshwal's stock rose while playing at the 2006 Reebok ABCD Camp and on the AAU circuit with the Chicago Jaguars this summer. His improvement has not gone unnoticed by coaches in the Big East, Big Ten and SEC.

Koshwal has taken unofficial visits to the DePaul University campus in Chicago on more than one occasion. Per Boys to Men coach Loren Jackson, Mac plans to visit five more college campuses in the next five weeks. For now the Blue Demons remain the leader for Koshwal's services.

Mac's first visit begins this coming weekend with an unofficial visit to the campus of the University of Louisville where he will meet with the head man Rick Pitino.

Koshwal will follow that up with an official visit to Southern California and USC Trojans coach Tim Floyd on September 1st.

On September 8th comes a trip to the University of Illinois in Champaign for an unofficial visit with the Fighting Illini.

Mac is scheduled to visit Knoxville, Tennessee for an official visit with Volunteers coach Bruce Pearl on September 15th. While there he will no doubt hear "Rocky Top" as the Vols take on the Florida Gators in their annual football grudge match that weekend.

Lastly, Koshwal will take an official visit to 2006 NCAA Final Four participant LSU on September 22nd.
