The Blue Demons will tangle with Mississippi on Thursday, December 20 at 2 p.m. (CST). The Rebels are coming off a 21-13 season (8-8 in the Southeastern Conference). Head coach Andy Kennedy's squad reached the 2007 NIT beating Appalachian State before losing to fellow San Juan Shootout participant Clemson in the second round.
DePaul will then face Clemson on Friday, December 21 at 2 p.m. (CST).
The Tigers were 25-11 last season (7-9 in the Atlantic Coast Conference)
and head coach Oliver Purnell's team also played in the NIT, reaching
the championship game before falling to West Virginia.
Head Coach Jerry Wainwright's squad will close out the tournament on
Saturday, December 22 at 2 p.m. (CST) when it faces La Salle. The
Explorers went 10-20 (3-13 in the Atlantic 10 Conference) a year ago.
The Blue Demons are coming off a 20-14 season (9-7 in the BIG EAST
Conference) and reached the quarterfinals of the NIT.
